Meet Our Staff
Pastor Jon Emory
Pastor Jon grew up in a small town in central Ohio. He loves Jesus and has a passion for preaching and making disciples of Jesus Christ all around the world. He has led a group from NLBC to the Holy Lands and local mission teams to Colorado, Florida and Africa.
He is married to his amazing wife Tina and has four adult sons. He loves to travel, play music and loves his dogs.
He has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry and a Master of Theology. Jon considers it a privilege to serve as pastor here at NLBC and has been here now for 5 years.
Treasurer Jess Bowers
Jess is a wife to one amazing man. She has three sweet but ornery boys. She lives on 30+ acres and loves to let their boys explore it with their dirt bikes and curiosity. Her days start with Jesus and coffee, and then she is off for an exciting game of life.
She has a degree in Business Administration from MVNU. Reading is one of her favorite things to do and she loves to explore when on vacation. The beach is always calling her home and running is her therapy.
Jess walks by faith and not by sight. She was baptized together with her husband at NLBC and has been going to NLBC for the past 10 years. She truly believes that it is our job on earth to do better by serving others and is thankful to serve at NLBC.
Administrative Assistant Mindy Locke
Mindy has lived in the area all of her life. She has been at NLBC for over 20 years. She has served in various ministries, including the praise team.
She loves to sing and use that gift to bring honor and glory to her Lord and Savior. She loves serving the various ministries of NLBC by meeting their administrative needs.
Custodian Joelene Dixon
Joelene not only serves as the Missions Director and Custodian at NLBC, but also loves Jesus and has a passion for missions, local and abroad. She is married and has 3 adult sons.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, have a passion to help others and a desire to spread the Good News of God's unconditional love she would love for you to join the mission team. She will not ask you to help with custodial duties.
